On Wednesday April 4, 2018 around 10:15 PM Station 30 was dispatched to the report of a camper on fire on Local Box 30-02 Southbound Route 1 near Route 13. Chief 30 arrived on scene with a 25 foot motor home fully involved. Rescue 30 was the first apparatus to arrive and went in service. Engine 30 and Rescue 98 were also on location and assisted Rescue 30’s crew. The highway was shut down for a short period of time while companies operated.
On Sunday March 25, 2018 around 1:00 AM Rescue 30 was added to Tactical Box 32-1 (Levittown Fire Co #1) as RIT for the working dwelling fire. Deputy 13 (Levittown Fire Co #2) arrived on location with a 1 story single family dwelling with fire showing from side A. Companies were able to bring the fire under control in about 30 minutes. The fire is currently under investigation by the Falls Township Fire Marshal’s office.
Also on location was Station 31 (Fairless Hills), Station 98 (Morrisville), and Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.
On Monday October 10th Station 30 was dispatched on Tactical Box 30-13 for a reported Dwelling fire on Jennifer Lane in the Penns Place Neighborhood. FM 234 was first on scene and reported heavy smoke showing from the garage soon after he advised Bucks County Radio that he had fire through the roof of an attached garage. Engine 98 was first in and got a water supply and went in service. Engine 30 took the hydrant and pulled a second line from Engine 98. Quick response and quick knock of the fire kept the majority of the damage to the garage.
Additional companies on scene were Tower 30, Engine 32, Rescue 98, Rescue 13 (RIT).
